SETTING UP PROFESSIONAL MOBILE STUDIO Learn how to create a professional mobile photography studio that can be adapted to different locations, commissions and space sizes. Whether you're photographing people, products or promotional material, this practical workshop will give you the confidence to produce high-quality images using professional lighting techniques. Helen will demonstrate how to set up a flexible studio using her own professional equipment or help you get the best from the equipment you already own. Topics covered Studio safety and safe working practices Choosing and using tripods and lighting supports Backdrop options and when to use them Reflectors, umbrellas, softboxes and snoots Understanding key, fill, back and hair lighting Using a light meter accurately Infrared and remote triggering systems Setting up a portable studio for different locations Practical session Participants are welcome to bring a friend or colleague to use as a model during the practical lighting exercises.
